Yoga, Pilates, Ai Chi and Tai Chi in the Water
Fluid movements intertwines the poses of yoga, the exercises of Pilate's and movements of Ai Chi. Sense the natural flow between the large muscle influence of Yoga, the isolated muscle initiation of Pilate's, the strong martial arts movements of Tai Chi and the round flowing movements of Ai Chi. All combined in a 45 minute class that involves exercises to improve your cardio respiratory system, strength, flexibility and reduce stress.

Shallow Water Aerobics
This class is moderate to advanced water aerobic exercises designed to leave participants feeling invigorated and refreshed. Water Aerobics has been proven to:
  • Burn fat through hydrostatic pressure resulting in increased oxygen consumption.
  • Strengthen both agonist and antagonist muscles groups equally in pairs.
The class is 1 hour in duration. Special equipment is provided for upper and lower body strength.

Deep Water Aerobics in a Shallow Water Pool
High Intensity Aerobic Workout with the option of suspending your body off the floor with the use of a noodle for floatation. This form of aerobic exercise engages all major muscle groups equally with a special emphasis on the trunk muscles. The class is designed to develop strength for better posture while reducing compression of the spine. The class is taught for 1 hour with 45 minutes of cardio vascular/respiratory fitness exercises that include intervals of strength training. Participants can participate in this class while touching the pool floor if desired.

Aquatic Strength Training
This class will combine exercises that focus on your superficial muscles that move the arms and legs as well as a special focus on the core muscles (back and abdominal muscles). Water provides an ideal training environment for strengthening the core. Learn how to integrate core stabilization techniques and multi-dimensional movement patterns to challenge the deepest muscle layers in the body.
